Nimbostratus Ns
Nimbostratus – is a dark gray, “wet”-looking cloud layer associated with more or less continuously falling rain or snow. The intensity of this precipitation is usually light or moderate-it is never of the heavy, showery variety.
**Nimbostratus clouds can also be classified as a mid-level clouds.**
