| Czech Funnel | I've seen tornadoes in various places but I never expected to conclude a trip to the Czech Republic with a view of a funnel cloud. This was taken September 12, 2006 at the Prague airport. The funnel lasted about 8 minutes. On this trip I visited the Czech Hydrometeorology Institute talked about their significant weather which is mostly related to flooding. Tornadoes are rare. Contest Ends: April 28, 2006
All photos must be taken by you. On submission, you give USF the right to display your photo including description of location and your name on the web page and on a plasma TV displaying weather information and cloud photos in the lobby of the NES building, USF Tampa. While many photos may be displayed through these media, there will be 1 winner. The judges decision is final. No prizes can be substituted for cash (some prizes can be used nationally, other prizes are local).
